The Aurum HSP was designed with a single purpose: to be the fastest downhill bike in the world. As an integral bike within Norco’s Race Development Program, the Aurum HSP’s proprietary design was developed and tested in conjunction with the Norco Factory Racing Team. After a full year of testing and riding, including a complete UCI World Cup Downhill season, the result is a no-compromise DH race machine that delivers superior grip and control, capable of taking on the toughest tracks in the world in pursuit of gold. Utilizing a high single-pivot suspension design with a raised idler pulley, this bike is active over even the roughest terrain. The extreme, rearward axle path allows the rear wheel to move back and over rocks, roots or whatever rough terrain one may encounter. Additionally, the lightweight carbon frame makes this bike easily maneuverable on jumps and in the bike park. Bred for racing, the bike features a reach adjustable headset, to tailor the bikes fit to any individual, external cable routing for convenient repairs and a detailed set up guide to provide the ultimate fit.
