The 2nd generation of KMC 12-speed chains are designed while considering all developments on the market. In the beginning, only SRAM offered 12-speed systems for mountain bikes, but since then all major manufacturers have followed their lead and at the same time expanded their ranges to include road group sets. In line with these new requirements, we have consistently revised our 12-speed segment and made the X12, e12 and DLC12 compatible with all shifting systems from SRAM, Shimano, Campagnolo, and other manufacturers. The compatibility is marked accordingly on the backside of the packaging of the products.
